For over 40 years, Susan Mellott has worked in performance improvement, patient safety, and accreditation with varied healthcare organizations—hospitals, outpatient services, long term care, home health, and more. Dr. Mellott is a Professor Emerita, College of Nursing, at Texas Woman’s University and CEO of Mellott & Associates, LLC., a healthcare quality consulting and education firm. Dr. Mellott has been certified with a CPHQ since 1991, CPPS (patient safety) since 2015, and a NAHQ Fellow since 1999. Dr. Mellott has numerous publications and presentations and has taught this CPHQ workshop for over 20 years.
